This is the lunch being served at one of Second Harvest Food Bank’s summer meals sites today—thanks to you.
This past July, our food drive team set out across our 18 county service area to collect food and funds to support our network’s summer meal efforts. With the help of our supporters at WXII 12, they set up in key communities served by our food bank, including Wilkesboro, Yadkinville, Kernersville, Winston-Salem and Asheboro—and the generosity of those communities became apparent.
Together, we raised over 121 thousand meals for families in need this summer.
