Second Harvest does not have a food pantry in its facility; however we can help you connect with grocery and meal assistance programs near you. Our partner network includes emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and meals programs for children, seniors, and older adults with disabilities.

SNAP/ Food and Nutrition Services assistance (formerly Food Stamps), may be able to help you buy food and free up resources for other expenses, such as utilities and medicine.

Special Update: We are continuing to take SNAP|FNS applications through the shutdown.
If you are already enrolled, we encourage you to continue following directions from your DSS case manager and keep your recertification appointments. For further updates, visit the NC DHHS shutdown web page.
You may be able to get assistance even if you own a home, car, or property, or if have money in the bank.

Help for Families With Young Children and Infants
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides food, health care referrals, and nutrition education for eligible pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to age five.

Do you need help finding food for your child? To find the summer meal sites nearest you: Text FOOD to 304-304 and provide your full address, zip code, or city.

You will receive a text back with the location of the closest meal sites and serving times. You can also call 2-1-1 to speak with an operator 24/7 who can help locate meal sites and other resources.
