GUIDANCE ON IMMIGRATION ISSUES

EVERYONE DESERVES TO EAT

At Second Harvest Food Bank, we believe everyone deserves to eat; that food is a basic human right.

Ensuring access to adequate food for all people is an obligation of any responsible and compassionate society. As we work together in our communities to address hunger, we have a responsibility to help any neighbor in need, regardless of race, religion, citizenship, disability, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other criteria.

As supplement to the non-discrimination guidelines for our network, Feeding America has provided an FAQ addressing immigration.
