CONFIRM, UPDATE, PLEDGE OR GET REGISTERED TO VOTE!
Know when and where to vote. Below are key dates for voting for this year’s
○ October 14 Voter registration deadline to vote on Election Day or by mail
○ October 20 One-stop early voting begins for General Election
○ November 5 One-stop early voting ends at 3PM
○ November 1 Absentee Ballot request is due by 5PM
○ November 8 General Election Day, polls are open 6:30AM-7:30PM

Are you registered to vote?

You can also register and vote on the same day during Early Voting!
To register, you must:
Be a US citizen
Be at least 16 years old and 18 years old by Election Day, to VOTE
Live in North Carolina and the precinct where you'll vote for 30 days before the election day
You are not currently in jail or prison for a felony conviction.
Not claim the right to vote in another state

Find early voting locations and times. You can vote at ANY location in your county during early voting.
If you want to vote on Election Day, you must go to your assigned polling location. Search for your Election Day polling site here!
No Photo ID Required to vote! The only voters who need to bring identification are:
New voters who didn’t list an ID number or last 4 of Social Security number on their registration application. Bring any photo ID or a utility bill, bank statement, online bill, pay stub or government document with your address on it.
Voters who register and vote at the same time during Early Voting. If you use same-day registration, be sure to bring: a government photo ID or a document (or online bill) with your name and current address: bank statement, utility bill, pay stub or government document.
