Celebrating Our Partner Agency Network

Updated: Apr 18, 2023

The year is 2022, marking Second Harvest Food Bank's 40th year of service to the people of Northwest North Carolina, working alongside a network or more than 515 local food assistance programs. Throughout the year, we'll be traveling from the mountains of Ashe County to the the urban communities of Alamance County, and points in between, speaking with partners in each of our 18 service area counties who have been feeding community with us since we first opened our doors on in 1982.

Partner agencies of our Food Bank, large and small, play a pivotal role in their communities, supporting individuals and families who, whether to due to job loss, reduced hours, health crisis or other challenges, find themselves in need of help. In addition to providing the majority of the food these partners give to families, Second Harvest works to strengthen the capacity of our network members to serve their communities through micro-grants, nutrition education services, Food and Nutrition Outreach services, advocacy, and more.

We'll let you know each time we add a video to this page. Meanwhile, enjoy getting to know some of the incredible people and organizations working to ensure that everyone can access the nutritious food they need as a foundation and fuel for all else they do.
